KleintjeZuid X International French School (IFS) offers care after school. Only children from the IFS are accepted. At the IFS, children go to school from the age of 2 till 12 years old. We make a distinction between the care of children under- and over 4 years old.

Half day care after school ages 2 till 4

The half day care of KleintjeZuid X IFS offers shelter, care, and guidance to children aged 2 till 4 after school. The half day care accommodates children aged 2 till 4 in their class room (le Petit section) in the school building.

Our afternoons focus on playing, crafting, singing and physical activity. On a daily basis the familiar classroom will be set up as a cosy and playful group area. Together at their tables, the children eat their lunch and crudité snacks, craft or do a puzzle. Also, there are several corners where the children can play. A dolls corner including a kitchen, a construction corner and a dress up corner. The schoolyard is used every day, for some fresh air and movement-oriented games.

The half day care is open on schooldays till 07:00 PM. You can pick up your toddler from 05:00 PM, after we have enjoyed a shared healthy snack. During holidays the half day care is open from 08:00 AM to 07:00 PM.

Our in and outside spaces comply with all legal safety and hygiene requirements. The half day care after school for children 2 till 4 has one group with room for 16 children.

After school care ages 4 till 12

The after-school childcare of KleintjeZuid accommodates children aged 4 till 12 in two basic group rooms in the auditorium of the school building.

After a challenging school day, our after school care is the perfect place for children to unwind. Next to the two basic groups areas, where the children enjoy shared lunch and crudité snacks, craft and play games together at our large group tables, there are several corners where the children can play. There is an artist studio filled with crafting materials, a homework table where the older children can independently do some of their homework and several corners set up for play. For example there is a corner where the children can build with Kapla, Lego or Knex or a reading corner where children can relax in lazy boy chairs together and talk or read. In the spacious schoolyard, the children can move freely with fun and games.

During the holidays we have fantastic themed programs for all the children to join and organize fun, creative, athletic and educational activities and excursions.

The after school care is open on schooldays till 07:00 PM. You can pick up your child from 05:00 PM, after we have enjoyed a shared healthy snack. During holidays the after school care is open from 08:00 AM to 07:00 PM.

Our in and outside spaces comply with all legal safety and hygiene requirements. The two basic groups in our after school care are designed to welcome 43 children split into two horizontal groups.
